Please join us for the 2017 ORBAA Golf Outing on August 21, 2017 to benefit the ORBAA Scholarship Fund.

Each year the Ohio Regional Business Aviation Association selects qualified recipients for 2 scholarships, a $2,500 Pilot Scholarship and a $2,500 Maintenance Scholarship. The purpose of these scholarships is to assist in offsetting the educational and development costs associated with pursuing a future as a Business Aviation Professional.

These scholarships would not be possible without the generous contributions from our membership which go a long way in helping to generate a strong pipeline of aviation professionals to work in our dynamic industry, for years to come.

We look forward to a great day of golf and networking at the beautiful Riverby Hills Golf Course in
    Bowling Green, OH
(www.riverbyhills.com) located 20 minutes from Toledo, and 2 hours from Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland and Detroit.

Shannon Forrest is a pilot and aviation safety advocate. He is the former manager of Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Aviation Human Factors for FlightSafety International - a role in which he designed, delivered, and evaluated crew performance training. His 10,000+ hours of flight experience includes owning a flight school, delivering freight in the MU-2B high performance turboprop, serving as an airline pilot, and transporting high profile and celebrity clients in a business jet. Session: How Uber, Hope Solo, and Dirty Harry Can Make You a Safer Flight Department

This 90 minute presentation is directed at the entire flight department and focuses on the interaction of human factors that play a role in achieving and maintaining a safe operation and preventing mishaps. Rather than lecture, the format is a high energy facilitated discussion between the speaker and participants. It uses case studies, real world examples, and underlying psychological theory to promote best practices within the industry (and demonstrate what not to do).
